Question Cargo space?

Has anyone saw a picture of the back of the BMW i3 with the hatch/trunk open to see how much space there actually is in the back?

I need this thing to carry some of my groceries

I need this to carry groceries and have room for my son in the backseat with his car seat.

Soo....ummm...where is the cargo space? With the seats up, and putting things on that hard plastic looking bench, looks pretty limited.

The nice thing is the big opening, most cars are limited by some pillar bars or not a wide/tall enough opening to get anything into the space. This is pretty much half of the backend opening up to put something inside.

I suspect that "hard plastic bench" is where the battery would be underneath.

Plenty of room if the seats are down. Enough room for normal stuff with the seats up. I am happy with it.

Thank you for the posts. I think this should be enough room for what I need.

Remember all, this is an electric vehicle. This isn't the, take to IKEA to buy a new desk, or mattress car. It is meant to get you from point a to point b by only using electric charge and saving fuel cost.

I still think it needs enough space to haul the odd large size object. Just because its electric is no excuse to have no cargo space.
