Red face Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone, I am new to this site. I am in the market for a green electric car and the BMW is a possible option. Downside is there are other options already available out there.....

I will wait and see if the i3 makes it out in time or I buy something else first.

Enough rambling though I just wanted to say hi!

Default cool

Hi BMW girl,

I have just received my i3 and its great! I am in Scotland so we have had a chance to see and buy before the US.
All I can say is that it is very cool. I don't really think the Nissan hits the spot? But be aware of the range on the i3 (like other EVs) 60-80 miles is ok but beyond very careful and slow driving is required....

Default Awaiting my I3

Hi
I have just joined the forum as I am looking forward to taking ownership of my white i3. Ordered in July 2014, I was initially quoted Dec for delivery but have recently been told it will be end of January 2015!

Colour wise I was thinking about having it wrapped. I have read all about "Tom's" red I3 and wondered if anyone in Scotland has done something similar.

I have not ordered the range extender as the weight of it actually reduces the distance achieved purely on electric. I hope it was the right choice. My max round trip distance will be 80miles so I'm hoping that careful driving will achieve that.

Since I live in Scotland I expect there to be a bit of snow on the roads over the winter. How have other owners coped with the I3 on snow?
